Break Time!

Today, and for some reason I wanted to say to the guys I work with I love you guys

I’m the only girls at the office, and they tease me all the time!!! On the other hand they do treat me real nicely.

Every one of them has his lovely beautiful aspect to his personality. The funny jokes, the crazy ideas, evil things they do to each other and to me sometimes (but they would know I start crying J) …. All the little things that happen with us at HOME. Spending 8-9 hours (atleast) at the office makes you see these people more than anyone else in your life. I don’t see my family as often and these people are more like my family now. Even with all the work load and pressure that kills us sometimes we still manage to make fun of each other.

Sometimes we are all silent and someone would say “ batatee batatoooo” and the chorus says “ aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah”!!!! “ ya 7abeebi ya 3eini” and then “ aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah” and then back to silence.

One of them is just totally crazy that whenever you say anything to him you actually need to hold his face and say things very slowly so that he would understand, because he would be on a totally different subject if you don’t. Yet this same guy gives the best work!

Little things that happen every day make this office worth coming to. Every day someone has a new story to tell and a new thing he has learned and wants us to know about. Nicknames : Raw7eyyeh, Moe, Em 3umar, Simba, …. And many other inappropriate ones to mention on my blog J

Sometimes an environment keeps people attached to a job! You don’t find that everywhere. I saw a friend last night and I just showed him a video on my phone on how we were playing basket ball in the office using the waste basket during lunch time. He said “you know? if they pay me a lot less I would join your company J, any vacancies?” I felt good. I felt that these men around me are a blessing. They care about you, they ask why when you are down, they buy you chocolates, they buy you toys, and they give you guidance even on personal matters.

I remember a friend sending me flowers to the office once. I can’t describe what they did and the way they wanted to meet the guy thinking he was a boyfriend. They were seriously concerned, and promised that on my wedding they will be dancing like crazy and YEFDA7OONI J

I am not sure what the moral of this story is, but it is to thank God for such a blessing, and to say I love you guys.

بعد 21 سنة من زواجي, وجدت بريقاً جديداً من الحب.

قبل فترة بدأت أخرج مع امرأة غير زوجتي, وكانت فكرة زوجتي

حيث بادرتني بقولها: "أعلم جيداً كم تحبها"...

المرأة التي أرادت زوجتي ان أخرج معها وأقضي وقتاً معها كانت

أمي التي ترملت منذ 19 سنة,

ولكن مشاغل العمل وحياتي اليومية 3 أطفال ومسؤوليات جعلتني لا أزورها إلا نادراً.

في يوم اتصلت بها ودعوتها إلى العشاء سألتني: "هل أنت بخير ؟"

لأنها غير معتادة على مكالمات متأخرة نوعاً ما وتقلق. فقلت لها:

"نعم أنا ممتاز ولكني أريد أن أقضي وقت معك يا أمي ". قالت: "نحن فقط؟! "

فكرت قليلاً ثم قالت: "أحب ذلك كثيراً".

في يوم الخميس وبعد العمل , مررت عليها وأخذتها, كنت مضطرب قليلاً,

وعندما وصلت وجدتها هي أيضاً قلقة.

كانت تنتظر عند الباب مرتدية ملابس جميلة ويبدو أنه آخر فستنان قد اشتراه أبي قبل وفاته.

ابتسمت أمي كملاك وقالت:

" قلت للجميع أنني سأخرج اليوم مع إبني, والجميع

فرح, ولا يستطيعون انتظار الأخبار التي سأقصها عليهم بعد عودتي"

ذهبنا إلى مطعم غير عادي ولكنه جميل وهادئ تمسكت أمي بذراعي وكأنها السيدة الأولى,

بعد أن جلسنا بدأت أقرأ قائمة الطعام حيث أنها لا تستطيع قراءة إلا الأحرف الكبيرة.

وبينما كنت أقرأ كانت تنظر إلي بابتسامة عريضة على شفتاها المجعدتان وقاطعتني قائلة:

 "كنت أنا من أقرأ لك وأنت صغير".

أجبتها: "حان الآن موعد تسديد شيء من ديني بهذا الشيء .. ارتاحي أنت يا أماه".

تحدثنا كثيراً أثناء العشاء لم يكن هناك أي شيء غير عادي, ولكن قصص

قديمة و قصص جديدة لدرجة أننا نسينا الوقت إلى ما بعد منتصف الليل

وعندما رجعنا ووصلنا إلى باب بيتها قالت:

"أوافق أن نخرج سوياً مرة أخرى,ولكن على حسابي". فقبلت يدها وودعتها".

بعد أيام قليلة توفيت أمي بنوبة قلبية. حدث ذلك بسرعة كبيرة لم أستطع عمل أي شيء لها.

وبعد عدة أيام وصلني عبر البريد ورقة من المطعم الذي تعشينا به أنا وهي مع ملاحظة مكتوبة بخطها:

"دفعت الفاتورة مقدماً كنت أعلم أنني لن أكون موجودة, المهم دفعت العشاء لشخصين لكولزوجتك.

لأنك لن تقدر ما معنى تلك الليلة بالنسبة لي......أحبك ياولدي".

في هذه اللحظة فهمت وقدرت معنى كلمة "حب" أو "أحبك"

وما معنى أن نجعل الطرف الآخر يشعر بحبنا ومحبتنا هذه.

لا شيء أهم من الوالدين وبخاصة الأم . إمنحهم الوقت الذي يستحقونه..

فهو حق الله وحقهموهذه الأمور لا تؤجل

I couldn’t but summarize the articleI read today morning. It was about branding, and how brands become an obsession to some people. The example illustrated in the article was that the writer met someone with a GUCCI barcode tattooed on his neck!!! When the guy was asked about the reason he said : “ I simply love the brand!!” \

In the article, the writer is trying to say that branding has taken a lot from religion. The writer says “Don't get me wrong. I do not wish to imply that religion has learnt anything from branding, but branding has definitely been inspired by the world of religion. These were the 10 components that I found:”
