Childhood is one of the best phases of life. You are happy, spontaneous, full of energy, and Innocent.

I saw this little girl yesterday at a food court in a mall. She came to me and smiled and was trying to play. Later, she leaves me and starts talking to everyone around. She sees another little kid with a stuffed toy in his hand and she goes crazy. She approaches him the nice way first. She hugs him and tries to get closer and create a bonding hoping that he would share the little toy. He was a mean kid and did not give her the pleasure of sharing the toy, so she tries it the tough way. She just takes it out of his hands! J He was shocked and wanted his toy back so he follows her trying to grab his toy back, but of no use.. It was HER property now. He starts crying and crying and there comes her mom and tries to get the toy out of her to give it to the little guy! Eventually she could convince her to give it back to him and then kiss him on the cheek. She was a bit older than him and cuddled him like he was a baby, and then said “ baby baby”, and then moved on playing with other people.

It is so nice how a little kid is happy with anything you get him/her. As we get older life gets less exciting. You get to a stage where you say “okay, been there done that, what’s next?” You find no REAL pleasure in the little thing you used to do and they were of SO MUCH fun! You get to be more demanding, more complicated to a point where nothing makes you happy. A friend and I were discussing this yesterday that no matter where you go nor what you do you are still BORED and nagging and forgetting all the blessings God have given you! You are still trying to find THE something that would make you feel the hype again. She is 23 and she was talking like an OLDER OLDER person! Deep in mind I was thinking OH MY GOD! How is it going to be when we are 70 or so! What would be of excitement at THAT time. All I ask God is that if I live to that age is to be in good health and never be a burden on anyone else. Each age would have its own remarkable moments but NOTHING beats Childhood!

All I could do is bring out the child in me all the time J Try to enjoy every detail and blessing in my life, and thank God that I still have the gift of life. Use the time on earth efficiently so that the after life is of ease J
Love,
Reema
