A football, A male, and I!

 
 

Girls are not usually the greatest fans of football, but I decided that since the World Cup 2006 is coming in Germany, I will try compensate and seem very interested. It happens once every four years, and I would feel good knowing what this is all about.

 

How it started:

 

Last week I was with friends sitting at a coffee shop. We were two girls and two guys. LUCKILY, there was a match taking place, some REAL MADRID and some other team… I really can’t remember! All of a sudden Hadi (the friend on the table) stands up and says ( WELAK AHHHHHHHH…. Yeeeeeeeeeee) and then sits down! hehehe HE SCARED ME! I’m sure you have all seen guys jumping like that J We go into the discussion of you guys are silly .. no you girls are sillier, and here was the deal! We (the girls) try to know more about football, and the two guys sitting with us would have to go shopping with us for 3 times!

 

Guys and girls have to meet somewhere and understand what the other gender likes and try live with it. Books like: Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus have always tried to explain the differences, but WHO READS IT! Unfortunately, not so many guys nor girls take these differences seriously. I would think that trying to understand the other gender is real fun.  I’m sure we have all read articles or heard from friends. This time it is an experiment! Once the experiment is done I will update you guys with pics J

 

The funny part is! I have to choose the team I will support this year. I have always supported Brazil not because I knew anything, but rather because my dad supports them! This time and as I was looking around I think I will change my mind! I support Italy! Why??? Coz they are cute!! There will always be the female in me J

I applaud your courage to observe our species in a male bonding event. I actually read Men are from Mars...the book is actually more about putting your observations into a higher context. I personally perform my experiments at work, at the grocery store and at a mall. The results are very colorful and humurous at times ! Good post R!

nice post, I love football and iam a girl and i watch the worldcup everytime, and most of games :)
Iam not fan of italy like all the other girls but iam a brazilian fan if brazil out but i doubt iam with arganteena :) and everytime i watch a game i jumb and shout and hit like the guys :) its intersting and funny

Wedad : I might need your help then :) I'd love to see you jumping. It isnt that I hate football bel3aks, I love playing it especially on the beach :) No talent bas I try my best :)
